I won’t let you in, but I can let you look at my stuff, 2025-2026
Stuff, clutter, mess, identity, intimacy, privacy, home, solitude, private-made-public. Within this series I play with the psychology of self-representation and the varying degrees of truthfulness in self-depictions as a counter to image-conscious, curated views. For me self-portraiture is a balancing act between the wish to stay hidden and the hope of being seen. A truncated, distorted photobiography. A cluttered repertoire of feats displayed, aspired, revealed, and exploited.
